I've always felt that advertising copywriters are the bottom feeders of our society but I must admit to being a bit moved by the Liberty Mutual "personal responsiblity" ad campaign that they keep running over and over again during the ball game.

I don't know...maybe I'm just cracking under the pressure of the World Series.

I like that ad campaign. There is a two year old boy in one of my classes that makes sure during music class that the other classroom teacher and I are given rhythm sticks, shaker eggs, scarfs etc - whatever the music teacher hands out to the children - so that we can participate also. I don't even have to ask. He just does it. The other children have noticed what he does (and no, I don't make a fuss over it - just simply thank him) and now many of them try to get us things also. I am quite impressed with all of them.

I haven't seen that ad. I haven't seen any baseball either. It's like we live in parallel universes. Weird.
